Tyler, my brother, my friend

well about 7 yrs back my bro got himself addicted to drugs, it started with the small stuff, mary jane and shit like that, then when he was about 16 he started with the other stuff, meth, coke, crack, he never did heroin thank god, but he wore my mom out trying to get him help which he never accepted :( then when i was pg with Chase he told my mom he had a problem and he needed help., so my mom being the saint she is tried everything she could think of for him, and he of course, at the time, being the jack ass he was would not accept anything from her. so the months went by and he got kicked out of the house, stabbed and he stole , and he was just going way down hill. the day comes that i have Chase and wouldnt u know it, my brother fell in love right away, well when Chase was about 3 months old my brother told my mom the same thing that he needs help and he has a problem, so again my mom the awesome mom she is. called this place out in ottawa and they allowed my brother into the program., so my mom, my brother, me and my 4 month old baby drove out there, about 6 hrs, and we dropped him off. he finished the program about 2 yrs ago and has been clean and sober since.
words cannot express how proud of him i am, and how much he amazed me every day with the things he does, he still lives at home, he has a job, he goes to church, he has his own car and his full license, and he is planning on going back to school in jan of 08!
yesterday he got himself an award for the city of hamilton, i cant remember for the life of me what its called. i just know that its a very prestigous award
